Avocado.

I'm going to try to grow an avocado tree.

My family has this dish of corn tortillas layered with ham and topped with an avocado sauce. My brother really likes this dish. Recently, I made some avocado tortas and had the seeds left over. I remember trying to grow the trees as a child but never gettingvery far. I also remember my father saying they don't produce fruit for thirty years or so. Well, here's how you do it.

1. eat the avocado.
2. place the seed in a cup with the lower hal fin water and the top half at the surface. use toothpicks to support it.
3. wait.

Let's see if I can get this to grow. It's supposed to take weeks, but I like projects.
